How soon after having kittens can I have the mom cat spayed?

It depends on the veterinary hospital's policies; usually between 2-4 weeks after the mom cat has weaned her kittens -- not the amount of time from the birth of the kittens.

Veterinarians will not sterilize a mom cat ("queen") that is producing milk ("lactating").
