Adoption Counselors

Adoption Counselors:

• interview prospective adopters
• re-direct them to a different cat when appropriate
• provide guidance on bringing the cat home
• explain PACT's criteria
• make a determination regarding adoption

These volunteers are also daily cat care providers since it's important to know the cats' personalities.

Upon completion of the training course, you will work as an Adoption Counselor-in-training with a seasoned veteran until ready to do adoptions without supervision. 

• Schaumburg/Woodfield - at Golf & Meacham Roads

• Schaumburg/Barrington Road - at Schaumburg & Barrington Roads

• Darien - on 75th street between Fairview and Lyman
