Featured Dog - BetsyBetsy
This gorgeous girl is a wonderful Lab mix named Betsy. She was adopted out to a family with another dog, and returned 5 years later. The owners claimed that their pit-bull was playing too rough with her, but that she was a good girl otherwise. She's been evaluated by several trainers who all say she just needs a bit more manners, but does not have an aggressive bone in her body. She's been with her foster mom only a short time, and her foster mom says Betsy is an absolutely amazing dog. She loves to be petted, go for walks, and play fetch. She's extremely loving, cuddly and affectionate. And believe it or not, this big girl longs to be a lap-dog! Betsy is an extremely smart girl, and is doing great in obedience class, where she's learning more and perfecting her manners. She's a big strong girl, weighing in at about 80 lbs., but every ounce of her is sweet. She's a young 6 and a half years old, and would love to find a forever home, where she is an only pet so she can get all the TLC she wants and deserves. Betsy is a perfect, loyal, best-friend if only the right family would give her a chance. If you are interested in meeting Betsy, contact our Foster Care Coordinator or call 630-375-7017 to arrange for an appointment. Please note that PACT does not "reserve" any animal. |
