Hi, my name is Symphony and I am a female short-haired black kitty born around January 1, 2000. I am spayed and have all of my claws. I was rescued from outdoors by a police officer and taken to PACT Humane Society for help finding a good home.
I was having a rough time surviving outdoors and almost didn't make it. I was so happy to be rescued, I can not even put my joy into words! I was so stressed out, my hair was falling out and I was very depressed. After some TLC, my hair is growing back and my attitude is back to it's usual happy-go-lucky self.
I am a lovable sweetheart with excellent people skills looking for a loving home. I am friendly, kind, gentle and easy to get along with. I am very adaptable and am comfortable wherever I am with whoever I am there with. I play well with gentle children and love to make people laugh. I can spend the better part of the night doing my best to kill a little ball or toy mouse. I am determined to win and will not give up until I do! One of my favorite things to do is get a belly rub which always cheers people up. I can also help you with your computer work. We all know how a helping paw can make the work go faster.
One thing I insist upon is waves in my water bowl. I repeatedly hit the bowl with my paw until I have a good wave going. I think I must have been a surfer in a previous life! Cowabunga, dude!! Another thing I love is an occasional lick of your ice cream on a warm summer night. Sure hits the spot doesn't it? YUMMY!!
My only hope is that this time my home is forever and I never have to go through my previous horrible experience. I am a house cat and belong inside where the love is! Besides, I absolutely LOVE catnip and you just can't get good catnip outside! Just so you know, my foster mom says that I am just wonderful and she has fostered tons of kitties, so I think she knows what she is talking about!
